Opteon™ XP44 (R-452A) refrigerant is a non-ozone depleting, low-GWP hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) alternative to R-404A and R-507, suitable for new or retrofitting commercial refrigeration systems. It is particularly suitable for use in DX chillers and low- to medium-temperature transport refrigeration systems such as trucks, vans, and reefer containers, as well as in commercial and industrial DX refrigeration systems.

Opteon™ XP44 is appropriate for low- to medium-temperature transport DX refrigeration systems, including refrigerated trucks, vans, and containers, as well as commercial and industrial DX refrigeration systems, including DX chillers.
